Compliance Agent (TSA IACSC Alternate) - - - -Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite) - - - -Location: Renton, WA - - - -Salary Range: $20-28 Hourly Range

Objective:The Compliance Agent (TSA IACSC Alternate) plays a critical role in ensuring Radiant Global Logistics, Inc. maintains compliance with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), and Dangerous Goods/Hazmat regulations. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Compliance, the Compliance Agent will guide stations on TSA rules and regulations related to the Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program (IACSSP) and Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:As a Compliance Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • TSA Compliance and Audits:
  • Manage Known Shipper Management System (KSMS) updates across internal shipping portals and DHS websites.
  • Process and track Security Threat Assessments (TSA) within the Indirect Air Carrier Management System (IACMS).
  • Perform audits of TSA compliance status for stations, agents, and shipping portals.
  • Conduct regular audits on IATA certification for Hazmat/DG employees.
  • Complete TSA inspections for stations, airports, and backtracks.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate TSA-related documentation in Docushare, ensuring all profiles are up-to-date.
  • Manage and file TSA training records and STA applications in the appropriate system profiles.
  • Submit correction requests for STA application discrepancies and provide guidance to stations as needed.
  • Training & Communication:
  • Evaluate TSA training programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate TSA updates and changes effectively to stations and internal teams.
  • Provide support to stations in maintaining compliance, handling queries, and resolving issues.
  • Regulatory Knowledge & Professionalism:
  • Stay current on TSA regulations and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in resolving compliance issues, especially when interacting with frustrated stations.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive data information.
    What We're Looking For:To be successful in this role, you will need:
    • Education & Experience:
    • High School diploma (or equivalent); additional certifications or relevant coursework is a plus.
    • 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
    • Prior experience in TSA, IATA, or Hazmat/DG compliance is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of North American geography and transportation logistics preferred.
    • Technical Proficiencies:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with IACMS, Veroot, KSMS
    • Experience with Transportation Management Software (e.g., SAP, CargoWise) is beneficial.
    • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
    • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting.
    • Must be able to pass a TSA STA background check.Work Schedule & Physical Demands:
      • Schedule:
      • Full-time, in-office position (minimum 8 hours per day)
      • Flexibility to complete all job duties while ensuring responsibilities are covered during absences.
      • Physical Demands:
      • Frequent walking, sitting, and keyboarding.
      • Ability to use hands for handling or feeling, and arms for reaching.
      • Effective communication skills (speaking and listening).
