Job Description:
A company is looking for an AR Recovery Analyst II to manage
insurance denials and underpayments.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain claim status and document outcomes of research on
accounts
Resolve higher complexity denials and underpayments and create
necessary appeals
Follow up on mid dollar balances and validate bulk underpayment or
denial trends
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in healthcare insurance billing and
collections
Basic understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle in a hospital
or clinical setting
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of insurance billing and
reimbursement processes
Familiarity with medical billing terminology and payer types
Certification in billing or medical coding is preferred
