professional learning opportunities.WHAT IS THE JOB?The Meeting
Manager is accountable for the entire event life cycle of planning,
implementation, execution, and reconciliation of multiple AVID
Center national events. In this role, you will provide leadership
for meetings and events, supervise and direct coordinators and
administrative support, develop and oversee resource plans for
events, and participate in the strategic planning process for all
meetings and events.If you are a leader who loves the complexities

within the contiguous United States.
- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): This position is eligible for 22
days of PTO per year, with 12 paid holidays plus a winter break in
between Christmas and New Year's Day.
- Continued education opportunities: All full-time employees with
at least 1 year of continuous AVID Center service are eligible for
$5,250 per calendar year in tuition reimbursement for qualifying
coursework or certification.
- Company-Provided Equipment: Our home office set-up includes a
laptop, dock, and extra monitor, with other amenities available on
request.

position:We bring in all employees at the midpoint of the salary
range for your role. Knowing that not all cities share the same

- You don't mind traveling, as this position will require you to
travel approximately 50-60 workdays out of the year.NICE TO HAVES?
- While this position is remote (with frequent travel) and we are
open to candidates in all four time zones, we are placing a
preference on candidates based out of San Diego, CA.
- Experience with Cvent, Social Tables, and/or Smartsheet.
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification.*Allowable
