General Job DescriptionDogwood Industries is seeking a highly
organized Human Resources Manager to join our team in Everett, WA.
A successful candidate will thrive at multitasking, pay close
attention to detail and take ownership and pride in their tasks.
Additionally, the candidate must be reliable, dependable, and
determined when it comes to projects that challenge their
capabilities. The HR Manager position is a key role within Dogwood
Industries, providing support to the HR Department.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesBenefits
- Maintaining HR systems and interfacing with third party
providers for benefits and services related to personnel (including
health benefits and 401k)Compliance
- Ensuring the company's compliance with local, state and federal
regulations
- Ensure workplace posters are up to standards with local, state
and federal regulations
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently followedHR
Records Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in electronic
formats
- Process employee information changes, such as promotions,
transfers, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and
confidentiality of sensitive informationInterviews & Onboarding
- Managing the staffing process, including recruiting,
interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Facilitate interviews for all levels of positions
- Understanding of recruiting processes and provide support and
updates as needed
- Ensuring job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all
local, state and federal regulationsPerformance & Compensation
- Coordinating performance reviews
- Using performance management tools to provide guidance and
feedback to team
- Developing training materials and performance management
programs to help employees understand and excel at their job
responsibilities
- Investigating employee issues and conflicts and bringing them
to resolution with attention to confidentiality and full
understanding of company policies
- Monitoring compensation strategy, providing data driven input
and recommending competitive wage and salary structuresSafety

- Proven working experience as HR manager
- Ability to confidently lead an HR program from an operational
perspective
- People oriented and able to manage interpersonal relationships
at all levels of the company
- Experienced with HR information systems and related software
platforms
- Ability to author effective communication and policy
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation
skills
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Ability to hold discrete information and deal professionally
with sensitive matters
- Bachelors Degree

- Experience with Paylocity or HRIS software
- Experience in construction or manufacturingCompensation$80,000
- $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position requires light
physical activity in an office environment. There are stairs in the
office which the employee will regularly need to utilize for
access. The employee will travel occasionally by car to the
corporate office and Sedro-Woolley factory, as needed. To perform
the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly
seated at a desk for administrative work and walks through the
workplace to meet with employees, utilizes the telephone
frequently, participates in meetings with colleagues and engages
with employees in a factory setting where they will be exposed to
shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.

LocationThis position is based out of the Dogwood Everett Factory
Office at 3200 35th AVE NE, Everett, WA 98201. This role is based
at our physical location, and in-person attendance is required.
Travel to Dogwood's Corporate office in Bothell and Sedro-Woolley
Factory may be required.
