Job Description:
A company is looking for an MCFR Transient Analysis Engineer for
a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform computational analysis of thermal-hydraulic transients to
support safety analysis
Develop and apply analysis methods for steady-state and transient
calculations
Collaborate with external vendors to integrate transient analysis
into reactor simulators
Required Qualifications
M.S. degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering (or
equivalent)
3-7 years of experience in nuclear systems thermal-hydraulic
analysis
Proficiency with nuclear systems codes such as RELAP, SASSYS, or
GOTHIC
Strong knowledge of nuclear systems fundamentals, including thermal
hydraulics and reactor transient behavior
Experience with fast-spectrum or molten salt reactor designs is
preferred
