Production Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Production Specialist to manage intricate book layouts and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

Navigate diverse workflows and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
Perform detailed page corrections and layout tasks for complex titles
Collaborate with Editors and other departments to align on project schedules and production needs

Required Qualifications

Degree in a graphic design-related field with extensive knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Creative Suite
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in publishing production
Proficient in Macintosh platform and Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience with additional book formatting tools like Vellum is a plus
Ability to effectively collaborate with team members across departments
