seeking an experienced Workday Configuration Consultant with a
strong focus on Workday HCM, Payroll, and Time Tracking. The ideal
candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and
optimizing Workday modules to meet business requirements. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless
implementation, integration, and maintenance of Workday solutions,
while providing expert guidance and support.What you will do:
- Configuration & Implementation:
- Configure Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, and Time
Tracking, to meet business needs.
- Lead or support new implementations, system upgrades, and
ongoing enhancements.
- System Optimization:
- Analyze current configurations and processes to recommend and
implement improvements.
- Ensure best practices are followed for Workday configuration
and integration.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather and
analyze business requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance
on system capabilities and solutions.
- Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Develop and execute test plans for system updates and
enhancements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in a timely
manner.
- Documentation & Training:
- Create and maintain system configuration documentation, user
guides, and job aids.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Workday
functionality and processes.
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure Workday configurations comply with organizational
policies, labor laws, and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with security teams to manage role-based
permissions and data security.What makes you a good fit:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM,
Payroll, and Time Tracking modules.
- Proven experience in Workday implementation projects, system
upgrades, and/or optimization.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Workday configuration tools, including EIBs,
calculated fields, condition rules, and Workday Studio
(preferred).
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and
time tracking best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability
to work effectively with both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
within deadlines.
- Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field
(preferred).
- Workday certifications in HCM, Payroll, and/or Time Tracking

range for this position in Washington is $50-$70/hr.; however, base
pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
