Sponsorship not available?General Position Summary:Modeling and
project support of VCS and Engineering projects.Essential Job
Functions:1. Provide drafting/modeling support for the Engineering
and VCS departments as needed.2. Maintain UMC CAD/Revit standards
through the modeling/drafting process.3. Capable of reading
contract drawings for reference.4. Modeling of plumbing/piping
systems per contract documents.5. Aid in the setup and processing
of 3D referenced models for VCS team to coordinate with.6. Annotate
and prepare shop drawings for A/E review through IFC to make
available to the PM team.7. Capable of deciphering P&ID
drawings and applying for modeling.8. Capable of modeling on any
software platform UMC is utilizing to detail field install
drawings.9. Capable of reading equipment specs to accurately
model.10. Generate and maintain deck penetration/insert drawings
for field install drawings.11. Must be able to identify any issues
to generate RFIs for the project team.12. Experienced in clash
avoidance modeling.--- Capable of running clash detection on all
trades for their respective project.--- Working knowledge to make
decisions to determine solutions of trade clashes.13. Experienced
in identifying issues that will result in generating an RFI.---
Knowledge of the RFI process.14. Knowledge of state plumbing/piping
codes for constructible modeling.15. Capable of generating
spools/BOMs/ISOs utilizing all software within the manufacturing
department. Position RequirementsSkills Required to Perform the
Essential Duties of the Job:1. Good organizational and time
management skills--- Capable of maintaining the organization of
network files and folders.--- Supporting in the file management of
all trades through UMC folder structure standards.2. Attention to
detail - errors & mistakes can result in significant financial
losses3. Strong written and oral communication skills4. Strong work
ethic - results-driven5. Ability to multi-task responsibilities 6.
Excellent working knowledge of Windows, Autodesk, and other
applications listed below:--- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
Outlook)--- Microsoft Teams--- Bluebeam Revu--- Navisworks--- Revit
2018 and Newer--- AutoCAD 2018 and Newer--- FAB-MEP 2018 and
Newer--- Revizto--- BIM360/BIMDocs7. Willing to visit project sites
for job walks to aid in the coordination and clarification of
projects.Supervisory Responsibility:None Education/ Experience
Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Duties of the
Job:2-year associate's degree or technical college
equivalent.Licensing or Other Special Certifications
Required:Maintain a valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving
