Class A CDL Driver Lead/Trainer for Amazon Freight Partner Compensation:$30-32.00 per hour + benefits Location: Tractor yard is located in Sumner, WA. Regional route covering Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Job Description: As a Lead Driver at Wagner and Company Logistics, LLC, you will be at the forefront of our delivery operations, leading a team of dedicated drivers to deliver trailers efficiently and safely. • Lead and manage a team of drivers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Ensure the timely and safe delivery of Amazon trailers to their intended destinations.
• Monitor and optimize route planning to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize delays.
• Handle delivery disruptions and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Coordinate with our dispatch team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a strong work ethic and excellent customer service. What you'll do:
  • Haul Amazon loads while training new drivers (no touch freight) using state of the art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand new sleeper cabs!
  • Service one round-trip route (14 hour run, 10 hour break in sleeper cab, 14 hour run back home). Must be flexible with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends) Why you'll love working for an Amazon Freight Partner:

      • Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
      • .Minimum of three years CDL driving experience.
      • Previous experience in the transportation and logistics industry, preferably with parcel or freight delivery.
      • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
      • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
      • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety guidelines.
      • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
