Position Details:
Title: Marine Electrician
Location: Seattle, WA
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday (7am-4pm)
Compensation: $34-$38/hour + OT
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance / 401(K) / Holidays + PTO
Travel: 10% travel outside of Seattle consisting of two maintenance trips to Dutch Harbor, AK per year (lasting up to 6 weeks). If desired, there are more travel opportunities but NOT required. All other work is in Seattle, WA.

Position Description:
The Marine Electronics Technician is responsible for performing repairs, installations, and maintenance of equipment onboard commercial vessels. Systems will include communications, radar systems, navigation systems, and others. The technician will also interface with the ship's captain and crew to communicate status updates and better understand the nature of their discrepancies.

Requirements:
--- 3+ years of experience as a field technician working on electrical equipment on commercial vessels or similar experience (for non-military candidates)
--- 6+ years' experience as an electrician working on medium to high voltage systems (Conventional Navy EMs, Internal Communications Electricians, Navy Nuclear EMs, and similar backgrounds). Military candidates must display technical knowledge of electrical fundamentals and principles. (for military candidates)
--- Able to receive a TWIC card within 2 months of hire.
--- Know how to use a Watt meter and other test equipment (preferred)
--- Must have clean driving record, valid driver license and be insurable.
--- Hold an active FCC GMDSS Radio Operator License or able to obtain within a month of starting
