Senior API Automation Test Analyst (Airline Domain)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Automation, Java, Selenium, API (SOAP, REST)- POST Man, SQL Database
  Industry Domain:
  Airlines knowledge, GDS, SABRE
  
  Technical Skills:
  
  
  • Strong hands on experience in Test Automation (preferably Selenium using C# or Java or Cypress with JS).
  • GitHub, clear concepts on code versioning strategies.
  • API Testing (SOAP, REST) - POST Man.
  • JSON messages
  • Strong experience in SQL database
  • Mobile Test automation using APPIUM
  • Azure DevOps (ADO): YAML, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions
  • SDLC Process Skill
  • Knowledge on SDLC on newest tech stack, and clear understanding of different types of testing in the whole gamut of things (Unit, SIT, performance etc.)
  • Clear concepts on agile methodologies (Scrum) and should have worked in an Agile environment
    Roles/Responsibilities:
    
    
    • Work closely with development team and Product management teams to understand requirements, perform test and report test results
    • Ability to develop & manage artifacts, tests, run test cases, and raise defects in Test/Defect management tool (preferably Azure DevOps)
    • Support implementation of DevOps by integrating automated test to pipelines
      Optional:
      
      
      • Azure Cloud, App services, DB, App Insights APIM (or App Dynamics)
      • Cloud platform provider (Saucelabs / Browser stack or similar)
        Work Authorization:
        Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
        
        Salary and Other Compensation:
        The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 - $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
