OverviewFred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent,

Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer
Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.With a track

HIV/AIDS prevention, immunotherapy, and COVID-19 vaccines, Fred

infectious disease, and biomedical research centers. Fred Hutch
operates eight clinical care sites that provide medical oncology,

comprehensive campaign, our team of more than 130 will grow to 160
over the next two years. Philanthropy staff implement
high-performing, relationship-based fundraising programs that
engage and inspire thousands of supporters who are passionate about
preventing and eliminating cancer and infectious disease. Our FY25
goals include increasing our annual fundraising, deepening our
patient family fundraising, and advancing the first phase of our
comprehensive campaign through Fred Hutch's 50th anniversary in
2025. Our success is made possible through a deep commitment to an
inclusive environment and operational excellence.The Project
Coordinator, Obliteride, is a member of the Obliteride program and
reports to the Associate Director, Obliteride. Obliteride is Fred
Hutch's largest peer-to-peer fundraising event, bringing more than
6,000 riders, walkers, runners, and virtual participants and more
than 800 volunteers together to raise millions of dollars for
innovative research and compassionate care at Fred Hutch.
Obliteride raised more than $9 million in 2024 and more than $58
million since launching the event in 2012. The team is pursuing
significant growth in fundraising over the next few years.The
Project Coordinator, Obliteride, coordinates operational and
administrative activities in support of revenue and program goals,
working internally across programs and with external partners to
ensure best practices in fundraising and donor impact. The Project
Coordinator, Obliteride, is responsible for providing excellent
customer service to participants, collaborating with the Gift
Services team to ensure accurate and timely tracking and entry of
donations, and actively participates in activities that support the
overall success of the event.Some travel and weekend and evening
work may be required.This role will have the opportunity to work
partially at our campus and remotely.ResponsibilitiesPartner with
the Gift Services team to ensure accurate and timely processing,
acceptance, and acknowledgement of gifts, and troubleshoot issues
in a timely and efficient manner.
