Growing together.-- Primary Responsibilities:--
- Uses MRI scanner protocols based on needs of the individual
patient and ordered examination
- Screens patients prior to scan for any contraindications
including implanted devices
- Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and
comfort during scan
- Starts IV's and administers contrast agents
- Evaluates images for technical quality
- Maintains the cleanliness of the scanner and associated
equipment in accordance with the infection control policies and
procedures
- Responsible for MRI quality control, and documentation of
necessary medical requirements

Qualifications:--
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in MRI
(must obtain certification within one year of hire)
- Active WA state license or pending application Washington
Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $40.00 to $60.00
per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited
to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications,
