Job Description:
A company is looking for a Legislative Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, draft, review, and advise on legislative and
regulatory proposals
Research, monitor, and analyze policy developments to assess
impacts on organizational goals
Develop understanding of policy issues impacting the business and
review Public Policy collateral
Required Qualifications:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to
practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
5+ years of experience in law practice
Experience analyzing, drafting, and reviewing state and federal
legislation and regulation
Interest in complex policy issues and ability to manage a complex
workload
Previous experience in health care or pharmacy policy is a plus
