Job DescriptionSeeking a talented BI Software Design Engineer to
join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence
solutions that drive data-driven decision-making across the
organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders to
understand their data needs and translate them into actionable
insights.Key ResponsibilitiesData Modeling: Design and develop data
models to convert raw data into meaningful insights.ETL
Development: Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently
processed.Report Development: Create visually appealing and
interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools.Integration:
Integrate BI solutions with other systems and applications to
enhance business capabilities.Collaboration: Work with
cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
that meet business needs.Performance Optimization: Optimize BI
solutions for performance, scalability, and security.Testing and
Troubleshooting: Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot any issues
with BI solutions.Documentation: Document processes, methodologies,
and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.Data
Modeling: Design and develop data models to convert raw procurement
data into meaningful insights.Report Development: Create visually
appealing and interactive procurement reports and dashboards using
Power BI.Integration: Integrate Power BI reports into other
procurement applications to enhance business capabilities.Custom
Visualizations: Develop custom visualizations and implement
row-level security on procurement data.Collaboration: Work with
procurement teams and business stakeholders to design and develop
data visualizations.Advanced Calculations: Use advanced
calculations on procurement data sets using DAX functions in Power
BI.Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct unit testing and
troubleshoot any issues with Power BI reports and
dashboards.Documentation: Document processes and methodologies used
in developing BI solutions for procurementMandatory skills and
skill proficiencies requiredEducation: Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related
field.Experience: Proven experience as a BI Software Design
Engineer or in a similar role.Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI
tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and data modeling. Experience
with ETL processes and data warehousing conceptsAnalytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCommunication:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with
cross-functional teamsTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI,
DAX, SQL, and data modeling. Experience with the Microsoft BI stack
(SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) is a plusProcurement Acumen: Strong
understanding of procurement principles, data, and reporting
requirementsAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.Communication: Excellent communication and
collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teamsOptional
skills and skill proficienciesExperience with other data
visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)Knowledge of data
warehousing and ETL processesFamiliarity with cloud platforms like

role. The base salary range for the tagged location is [$65,200 -
$158,550 / year]. This role may be eligible for other compensation
