Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Care Partner, hourly range from
$21.00-$24.00/hr.

700 seniors and their families. CARE PARTNER/CAREGIVER We are
looking for the right person to partner with our residents to help
them continue to live their lives of purpose and make the most of
every day by providing the best care and support we can give them.

Care Partner/Caregiver to join our team. If you are working on

and includes being responsible for the care of our residents, which
can be hands-on and/or stand-by assistance as needed. At Highgate,
providing care means to provide for the whole person, providing
physical assistance with activities of daily living and emotional,
psychological, and soulful support. The successful candidate will
be an organized and detail-oriented individual with a positive and
self-motivated attitude. You must have strong communication and
critical thinking abilities as interacting with seniors while
providing care requires both abilities. Becoming a caregiver is a

for a long term, deeply satisfying profession. SKILLS NEEDED: Good
customer service skills, the ability to intuit, and problem solve
Patience, level headedness, and compassion Ability to pivot, change
direction and accomplish tasks with innovative approaches
Background in working with different types of people with different
ability levels Team player with ability to develop strong working
relationships Ability to take feedback and incorporate it into your
efforts An understanding of what it takes to provide care to
residents that need physical and/or cognitive support Comfortable
to adapt quickly to the changing needs of an older adult An
understanding or the willingness to gain an understanding of the
various forms of dementia and how residents with dementia can
continue live with purpose RELATABLE EXPERIENCE: Prior experience
working in an assisted living community or memory care community
Jobs or volunteer assignments that have given you opportunities to
provide care for someone Other hospitality or healthcare related
experience Experience in customer service Roles in which you have
been a multi-tasker Opportunities from your past where you have
demonstrated kindness, patience, and compassion to varying groups
and individuals Volunteer work involving vulnerable groups
QUALIFICATIONS:
1- At least 18 years of age
2- Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification
3- Ability to obtain required caregiving license within specified
timeframe if necessary
4- Current negative TB test
5- Possess the ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously
during work hours
6- Ability to carry or transfer up to 50lbs with assistance
7- Ability to pass criminal record/background check
8- Be efficient and exercise good time management skills
9- Must be able to work well independently with little
oversight
10- Must have a track record of top-notch organizational abilities
and communication skills
11- Willing to attend and incorporate into your work efforts

for this role based on the credentialing, tenure and skill sets
each candidate brings for consideration. The hourly wage range for
this position is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour. Prior experience
