  • Job Details
  • Hospital in WA is looking for a CST to start ASAP! This is for an 8 hour day/evening position.
  • Assists in the care and preparation of the surgical patient.
  • Functions as a member of the surgical team creating and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Knowledgeable about instruments, supplies and equipment used during a surgical procedure.
  • Understands the procedure being performed and has the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
  • Possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs.
  • Provides care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
    • Minimum one-year recent surgical experience preferred.
    • Current Washington State registration as a Surgical Technologist.
    • Current national certification as a Surgical Technologist.
      • Schedule Information
      • Variable 8 hour shift with some call.
      • 13 week assignment.
      • Days/Eves/Nights, variable, weekends, holidays, on call.
        • Additional Details
        • BLS, COVID Vaccine Required.
        • LICENSE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT.
