• Employment Type: TravelWe are seeking an experienced PCU and Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a Night Shift schedule (3x12 hours per week) in Federal Way, Washington, with a primary destination in Seattle, WA, located in King County. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with expertise in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Stepdown care, focused on providing critical care to patients transitioning from intensive care.
  
  Roles and Responsibilities:
  Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown Unit, managing individuals who require more monitoring than a general medical floor but don't need full intensive care.
  Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other patient metrics to detect early signs of deterioration.
  Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, treat, and provide quality care to patients.
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care outcomes.
  Ensure accurate documentation of patient conditions, progress, and interventions through Epic.
  
  Requirements:
  Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in PCU or Stepdown nursing.
  Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
  Licensure: Active WA RN license.
  Charting System: Epic experience required.
  Ratios: 1:3-4 nurse-patient ratio.
