us!PitchBook's Lead Product Manager is the strategic head of a
product area and leads a team of Product Managers to execute
against our roadmap. The Lead Product Manager acts as a subject
matter expert for a specific product area and defines the vision,
strategy, and roadmap for that focus. This role champions the needs
of our customers, pain points, and business opportunities across
the organization. They also serve as a leader to Product Managers
in their product area, growing the team's skillsets and developing
the organizational structure needed for success.Primary Job
Responsibilities:
- Champion client needs, pain points, and business opportunities
across the organization and develop a shared understanding of the
product area vision.
- Establish clear domain goals and aggressively measure and
assess your business impact while prioritizing additional
opportunities for success.
- Actively define the product roadmap, prioritize the backlog,
and create business cases to outline new strategic product
opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and project teams to
execute your product roadmap.
- Create detailed functional specifications from prioritized
requirements and effectively communicate to stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Product Members on
the Product Management process and develop their skillsets.
- Be a SME for your product area(s) and a go-to resource for team
members across PitchBook.
- Support the vision and values of the company through role
modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as
requested.Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Math,
Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- 2+ years of previous experience leading direct reports or
mentoring Product Managers.
- Strong bias for action and willingness to roll up the sleeves
and do what is necessary to meet team goals.
- Experience establishing customer-centric requirements and
writing functional design specification documents for engineering
teams.
- Familiarity with private capital markets and the investment
lifecycle.
- Ability to leverage data analytics tools (Mixpanel, FullStory,
Snowflake) to drive product decision making.Benefits + Compensation

employment.Compensation:
- Annual base salary: $165,000-$185,000.
- Target annual bonus percentage: 10%.*Starting pay will be based
on several factors and commensurate with qualifications &
experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure;
there may be different ranges for candidates by location.Working
Conditions:We believe our business and our culture are strongest
when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to
have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the
office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office
4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you
are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the
office full-time during the training period, for which the length
varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will
discuss expectations for this specific position.The job conditions
for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in
this position use PC and phone on an ongoing basis throughout the
day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or
