Compensation during the offer process will be determined based on factors such as compensation structure, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.Position SummaryThe OR Nurse Manager (Orthopedic Experience) in the ASC leads the RNs and support staff while delivering expert nursing care throughout the peri-operative phases. The Nurse Manager is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This role also supports the ASC Director in the daily operations of the facility.Schedule4 10s, 7:00am-5:30pmKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the OR Nurse Manager (Orthopedic Experience) include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages staffing and labor, ensuring efficient RN and support staff scheduling and performance. Direct reports include RN Circulators, Surgery Technologists, Sterile Process Technicians, and Materials Manager.
  • Drives performance management through regular evaluations, coaching, and development.
  • Mentors and develops team members to promote high performance and professional growth.
  • Leads company initiatives and projects to improve patient care and efficiency.
  • Oversees training and education programs to ensure clinical competency, safety, and compliance.
  • Coordination of inventory, medical supplies, consignment, instruments, OR equipment, etc.
  • Participate in Proliance policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives.
  • Participation in recruitment and human resource team requirements.
  • Accreditation (all agencies).
  • SIS-Complete, Surgeon/Anesthesia Education.
  • Preference Cards.
  • SIS Build/Updates.
  • All other duties as assigned.Education/Experience
    • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
    • Current State RN licensure and CPR, ACLS and PALS accreditation.
    • 2 years of progressing leadership experience desired.
    • 4 years of OR, Recovery Room, Intensive Care or Emergency Room experience is required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
      • Skill in using a computer.
      • Knowledge of applicable specialties.
      • Outpatient clinical organizational ability.
      • Ability to remove oneself personally from given situations, remaining objective.
      • Ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility, and provide assistance when interfacing with patients, physician and staff.
      • Ability to multi-task.
      • Skill in organizing and reporting information that is accurate and complete.
      • Understanding of the need for and evidence of consistent respect for confidentiality/HIPAA.
      • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
      • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staff.
      • Ability to prepare records in accordance with detailed instructions.
      • Ability to communicate clearly.

      • Emotional intelligence and openness to working with varied personalities.
