Your ImpactThe Axon Connected Devices team's mission is to bring
transparency and capture the truth of critical events experienced
by law enforcement officers, helping to protect lives. We develop
technologies and products that seamlessly enable officers to
confidently capture vital footage-from start to finish-using a
variety of sources. Our devices, such as Axon Body Cameras, play a
pivotal role in delivering unaltered, critical evidence that
reveals vital details, generates insights, and presents unbiased
perspectives.Device administrators and armorers in law enforcement
agencies play a crucial role in ensuring that Axon devices are
deployed, managed, and maintained effectively at scale. Your work
will maximize the performance and effectiveness of Axon devices,
empowering administrators to easily deploy, maintain, track, share,
and manage these devices using Axon's suite of mobile and desktop
applications, cloud services, and hardware solutions.We are seeking
a product leader who can think broadly and strategically to define,
own, and drive the product roadmap, create market-fit products, and
grow the product's market share for Axon devices. You'll be a key
player in one of our fastest-growing product lines, developing
solutions that extend globally and deliver exceptional value to our
customers. You will closely collaborate with Axon's successful
products, including Axon Body, Axon Taser, and Axon Evidence, among
others. Working with a talented and expanding team of engineers and
designers, you will lead the development of our next-generation
devices.As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the entire
product lifecycle-from hardware to software-ensuring products are
delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality
standards. Your work will not only meet but exceed customer
expectations, delighting them with innovative, reliable
solutions.What You'll Do
- Location: Onsite at our Seattle, WA office OR Scottsdale, AZ
office from United States
- Leverage market data, trends, and customer insights to
formulate business plans for new products/market segments globally.
Consistently deliver innovative product solutions that delight
users and drive buyer conversion and user adoption.
- Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders
including sales, marketing, product support and customer
relationship managers to gather feedback, understand their
challenges, and convert those insights into product
enhancements.
- Proactively collaborate with engineering to make the right
trade-offs for technology solutions to complex problems. Recognize
how architecture will influence cross-product systems. Facilitate
clear communication and collaboration between technical and
non-technical teams and ensure alignment on product goals and
priorities.
- Write detailed product vision and specifications, ensure that
the final product/ feature meets the requirements and delivers an
optimal user experience.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales,
customer success, marketing, and technical support, to ensure
product success and customer satisfaction.
- Effectively work with external partners and software and
hardware vendors to join forces in building joint products that
meet customer's needs.
- Effectively communicate progress, risks, trade-offs and
opportunities to stakeholders, including senior management,
customers and external partners.What You Bring
- 7+ years of product or program management on medium to large
products.
- Bachelor's degree in fields of computer science, electrical
engineering or related fields.
- Excellent understanding of the business of building products
and monetization strategies to drive product growth and
adoption.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability
to develop and articulate product vision and strategy to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders including C-suite
executives.
- Effective in contributing to technical discussions, influencing
technology decisions and strategies pertaining to product
development.
- Demonstrated passion for prioritizing customer needs, making
critical trade-offs between team capacity and customer
demands.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track
record of developing innovative solutions to complex technical
challenges.
- Experience in collaborating with international customers and
coordinating with global teams.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for short
