Skyline.Our Director of Nursing is responsible for fostering a
dynamic organizational culture and strengthening our programs and
impact in one of our premier communities.Our Director of
Nursing:Supervises all healthcare team members to include hiring,
training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and
proceduresPlans, implements, and schedules nursing servicesProvides
intervention to respond to emergencies and problemsMaintains
medical charting and required documentation under scope state
regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate
policiesAssesses residents for change in level of care and
coordinate billing for that level of careAdministers and coordinate
medications of residentsOversees and/or is responsible for,
including delegation to another qualified nurse, infection control
within the communityWorks closely with residents and families to
develop and implement appropriate care plansAssists residents with
medical appointments and coordinate required
transportationParticipates in rotation of on-call dutyFollows OSHA
compliance and back support proceduresMaintains contact with
physicians to facilitate medication orders, refills, supplies or
transportationFollows established risk management procedures for
residents and team membersPromotes the Transforming Age Culture of
ExcellencePerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to
succeed!Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or the
equivalent combination of education and experienceLicensed as
either a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state,
or the ability to relocate and transfer licensure. Registered Nurse
strongly preferred.Minimum of three years' experience in Nursing;
Experience in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing strongly
preferred.Advanced knowledge of state regulations for nursing in
assisted living communitiesExcellent written and oral communication
skills.Strong leadership and training skill.Proficiency with
