Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage accounts
payable and general ledger functions remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Process payments for various programs and communicate with vendors
regarding payment issues
Track credit card expenses and reconcile monthly statements
Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and
assist with audit preparations
Required Qualifications
High school graduation with three years of accounting experience,
or an Associate's degree in accounting
Working knowledge of accounting principles and office
procedures
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to organize documents and meet payment deadlines
Residency in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the North
Carolina border
