About the Role:The Front Desk Agent at Port Angeles Hotel plays
a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and
ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay. This position
is responsible for managing reservations, checking guests in and
out, and providing information about the hotel and local
attractions. The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of
contact for guests, making it essential to deliver exceptional
customer service and maintain a positive image of the hotel.
Additionally, this role involves handling guest inquiries and
resolving any issues that may arise, ensuring a seamless
experience. Ultimately, the Front Desk Agent contributes
significantly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the
hotel operations.Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in
the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with hotel management software.
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions.
- Fluency in a second language.Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and
professional first impression.
- Manage reservations and check-in/check-out processes
efficiently and accurately.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding
hotel services and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure a
positive experience.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions
in the hotel management system.Skills:The required skills for this
position, such as strong communication and interpersonal abilities,
are essential for interacting with guests and ensuring their needs
are met. Customer service experience allows the Front Desk Agent to
handle inquiries and complaints effectively, fostering a positive
environment. Familiarity with hotel management software is
